Born in the rural parts of Kenya, where herbal remedies were the norm, Dr. Abuaba's early encounters with modern medicine ignited a passion that has shaped his exemplary medical career.
Driven by a desire to make a difference, Dr. Abuaba excelled academically, completing his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Degree from The University of Nairobi College of Health Sciences in 2000. He began by serving as a Medical Officer in various departments across the Kenyan health sector, including

Relocating to Denver in 2006 with his wife and daughter, Dr. Abuaba seized the opportunity to immerse himself in the local medical community. During this time, his interest in geriatrics flourished, paving the way for a transformative move to New York in 2008 to pursue a residency in Internal Medicine.
He received his board certification in Internal Medicine in 2011.
In 2016, Dr. Abuaba, alongside his wife, founded Destiny Internal Medicine and Post Acute Care Services PC - a healthcare institution that has since become a cornerstone of healthcare services in Colorado. Driven by a patient-centric philosophy, Destiny Internal Medicine is known for its commitment to personalized care, emphasizing patient education and empowerment.
He lives in SE Aurora and enjoys spending his time outside work with his wife and three children. His diverse interests include Hiking, Soccer, Football, Basketball, and Carpentry.
